 LJMS Computer Distribution is this week!!!
Thank you to all of the families who have already picked up their computer! Here are a few reminders for our remaining families:
**please consider bringing your student with you to help complete the process
***completion of checking out your device should take you 20 - 30 minutes to go through the whole process
- Distribution will be done on at the rear of the school using Gatehouse Road and loop around towards Door 4 near the rear of the cafeteria
- Building access will not be permitted
- Students and parents, please remain in your car and a staff member will approach your car when they are ready to speak with you.
- When a staff member is talking with you, please turn off your engine and remember to speak loudly.
- Face coverings are required at all times during the process
- Please allow us time to check in the device and verify the process for you.
- While it is preferred that parents and students drive to the school, walk-ups will be handled as well. If you do walk up to the school, please ensure you adhere to social distancing and please wear a face covering.
- Families should arrive at the beginning of the appointment window they have signed up for. (Please SIGN UP HERE if you have not already done so).
- During our process, families will have an opportunity to turn in their Tiger Time paperwork, reset their device password (if necessary) and drop of their previously borrowed device(s). It is extremely important to note that you must turn in your previously borrowed device(s) before a new one can be issued to you.
- After receiving their new device, families will drive to the front of the school building where there will be an opportunity to take a photo in front of our new LJ backdrop!
Students will also get a "We ROAR As ONE" t-shirt and supply bag (specific to your 7th or 8th grader).
As we do not have an in-person opportunity to exchange information, meet teachers, grab P.E. clothes, etc. this year, we are using our FCPSon laptop device distribution as a way to get key information from families and also to give students school supplies and their very own LJMS "We ROAR as ONE" t-shirt.

Mandatory Forms for the 2021 School Year (PLEASE READ)
Every year we are required to multiple county forms. For your convenience, we have uploaded all of the forms onto the main page of our school website. Please visit this site to access the forms. These forms must be received before we can issue you a laptop. Please email Ms. Monica Iskander, mxiskander@fcps.edu , your completed forms. We will also have blank forms available at FCPSOn distribution.
Attention 7th Grade families:
The TDAP Immunization is a mandatory requirement for all 7th graders attending Fairfax County Public Schools. In order for your child to attend school on the first day, an updated immunization card/sheet must be turned in to Mrs. Diana Egas, dgegasvides@fcps.edu. An exemption note from your child’s pediatrician is required for verification. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mrs. Egas at 703-204-8122. You can also fax the forms to 703-204-8135 for your convenience.
