Your Clermont School Team has been working hard to plan for a successful virtual opening. We have posted the tentative grade level schedules on our Clermont ES website for your family planning purposes. These are proposed, tentative schedules and are subject to change before the first day of school on September 8, 2020. Our hope is that we will not need to make any changes, however we encourage you to check back prior to the start of school. The specials (art, music, PE, Chinese) schedule is below the instructional schedule.

While we are still working to create our class placements/teacher assignments for all students, you may want to ensure that your ParentVue account is active. As the school year approaches, we are planning our laptop distribution. All Clermont ES students will be issued an FCPS laptop. It is our goal to ensure that all students can actively participate in distance learning for the 2020-21 school year. Every child will need a dedicated computer and the FCPS issued laptop will contain pre-populated shortcuts on the desktop to our frequently used programs.
6th Grade: The distribution of laptops will be on Tuesday, August 18, for rising sixth-grade students and their siblings who attend Clermont ES. If a rising sixth grade student already has an FCPS laptop from the spring distribution, they should bring it with them on Tuesday, August 18, and exchange it for a new laptop.

5th Grade: The distribution of laptops will be on Wednesday, August 19, for rising fifth-grade students and their siblings who attend Clermont ES. If a rising fifth grade student already has an FCPS laptop from the spring distribution, they should bring it with them on Wednesday, August 19, and exchange it for a new laptop.

In order to maintain safe social distancing and safety protocols, all families must sign-up for an appointment to pick-up their FCPS issued laptop and wear a mask when coming into the building. You will be required to complete a health screening before entering the cafeteria. There will be a QR code on the door; you can scan and complete the screening online the day of the distribution or fill out a paper copy when you arrive at Clermont.
Students must be present to pick up laptops.
Information regarding laptop distribution for grades K – 4 will be sent out next week.
If your family is unable to pick up their FCPS issued laptop on the designated day, please contact Linda Peace at llpeace@fcps.edu or 703-921-2400 to make other arrangements for pick-up.
A medida que se acerca el año escolar, estamos planificando la distribución de nuestras computadoras portátiles. Todos los estudiantes de Clermont ES recibirán una computadora portátil de FCPS. Si un estudiante de quinto grado ya tiene una computadora portátil de FCPS de la distribución de primavera, debe traerla el miércoles 19 de agosto y cambiarla por una computadora portátil nueva.
Para mantener un distanciamiento social seguro y protocolos de seguridad, todas las familias deben inscribirse en una cita para recoger su computadora portátil proporcionada por FCPS y usar una máscara al ingresar al edificio.
