Language Arts
Students have learned to add many details to make their stories even better! Once students have begun writing, encourage them to make their people and characters come "alive" by including speech bubbles, face expressions, details and movement.
Math
Play “How many am I hiding?” You can use pennies, beads, beans, etc. Show your partner the total amount of items, hide some of the items, show remaining items, see if your partner can figure out how many items are hiding.

Thank you for joining me in diversity and love this summer! We are the World, and it is up to each of you to treat everyone with kindness, and to speak up for what is right. One Love… One World!!! Please help me decorate Miss Spiess-Ki’s music room (both virtually, and brick and mortar). What is your message to everyone at our school… our world?? Make a sign, and write or draw your message! Then, take a picture and send it to me, and also please give me your sign when we meet again at Bailey’s.
