Good evening Robinson Ram families! Thank you for reading our first Ram Blast of the 2020-2021 school year. As many of you know, this year will be unlike any we have experienced. Whether you are new to Robinson as a 7th grade student or newly enrolled, our teachers and staff have been working to make sure you each have a wonderful school year of learning, relationship building, and growth!
This newsletter will be sent weekly on Fridays. Since the virtual world is our new reality, please take time each week to read this together with your Ram and discuss the variety of topics included. Each week we will share important information, content related topics to discuss, and celebrate our amazing students. Even if we cannot be together physically, we can utilize our tools to continue building lasting relationships with our community and families.
If you are newly enrolled to FCPS, you will be mailed your SIS parent activation letter between August 26th and August 28th.

Attention 7th Grade families:
The TDAP Immunization is a mandatory requirement for all 7th graders attending Fairfax County Public Schools. In order for your child to attend school on the first day, an updated immunization card/sheet must be turned in to Mrs. Melanie Knowlton at MAKnowlton@fcps.edu. An exemption note from your child’s pediatrician is required for verification. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mrs. Melanie Knowlton at MAKnowlton@fcps.edu or 703-426-2222. You can also fax the forms to Mrs. Melanie Knowlton at 703-426-2186 for your convenience.

Laptop distribution is scheduled for the week of August 17. We will be distributing the laptop computers by last name alpha order, not grade level, so that all members of the family in grades 7-9 can come together in one trip. Click here to view the schedule and for details. |
RAMping Up Transition Program
We are thrilled to welcome the class of 2026 to Robinson Secondary School! To ease the transition to middle school, asynchronous materials and activities have been created and posted on google classroom for self-directed access by your student. In addition, you are invited to register your student for a supplemental orientation session scheduled during the week of August 24.
