Four Return to School Town Halls Scheduled

Superintendent Brabrand will host Return to School Town Halls for the FCPS community each Wednesday beginning August 12 through September 2. The events will be livestreamed on the FCPS website and available on FCPS Cable TV Channel 99. Please email questions to ReturntoSchool@fcps.edu before the Town Halls, or call 1-800-231-6359 during the events to ask questions “on the air.” Town halls will be held from 6-7 p.m. Recordings will be posted on the FCPS website.


FCPS 2020 Leadership Kickoff Is Tomorrow

All employees on the FY 2021 School-Based Administrator Scale and the FY 2021 Unified Scale Schedules B, C, and Leadership Team are invited to attend the virtual FCPS 2020 Leadership Kickoff tomorrow, Wednesday, August 5. Virtual networking and recognition of newly hired and promoted leaders will begin at 7:30 a.m. Opening remarks will begin at 8:30 a.m. Access to the event will be through the 2020 Leadership Kickoff Google site. Pre-registration is not required, and your participation will be recorded through a completed exit survey.

Extended School Year Provides Meaningful Learning for Students and Staff

A peek into this summer’s Extended School Year (ESY) program offers inspiration for the virtual start to the 2020-21 school year. ESY provides special education and other related services to help students maintain or advance their learning beyond the school year. Virtual Fitness Classes: August Schedule Announced

FCPS Employee Wellness is continuing to host virtual, live fitness classes for staff in partnership with Inova Well. There is something for everyone from yoga to bootcamp.
