Laptop Dropoff Change for Tuesday 8-11am; 6th Grade Laptops
Due to the forecast of heavy rain tomorrow, we will be having parents drop the laptops off at the FRONT of the school instead of the Kiss and Ride lane.
This is for the 5th grade laptops, the 6th grade laptops that did not get returned today, and any other laptops that need repair.
Parents of our former grade 6 students: if you did not return your student’s laptop on Monday, PLEASE return your student’s laptop on Tuesday. We had only about one third of them returned today. Your student will be given a much better laptop to use in middle school and we need these back for our students for the upcoming year. They will not be able to get their new one if their 6th grade one is not returned. Thank you!
Please follow these guidelines:
- Leave all name tags on the laptop and the bag.
- Put the power cord that came with the laptop in the zipper pocket. The barcode on it should match the barcode of the laptop.
- Put the laptop in the main part of the bag and zip it shut.
- Check to make sure that any personal items are taken out of the bag. If any are found later, they cannot be returned.
- If you have lost the power cord, you may pay for it with a check made out to FVES for $38.
- If your student has lost the laptop, please email Ms. Payne and Ms. Schmidt now at tjpayne@fcps.edu and bdschmidt@fcps.edu.
- When you drive up to the front of the school, please give the staff member there your child’s last name and then put the laptop bag on the cart.
