The school building is now open by appointment only. If we can serve you over the phone, that is the preferred. All visitors to our school building need to follow the safety guidelines.
For students who need access to a laptop for Fall online learning, laptop distribution will be held by appointment only on:

If you will need a laptop for your child, please contact Ms. Jenny Lim. Once we know you need a laptop, then someone from our front office will call you to schedule an appointment.
The BMP PTA is seeking a volunteer to support this school year as treasurer. The treasure is responsible for tracking income from fundraisers as well as PTA expenses, which traditionally include supports that our provided to our school in ways that support all students. All students will start the school year online and the first day of the school year is Tuesday, September 8, 2020.
We continue to prepare for in-person instruction for when that time arrives, and an FCPS video provides an overview of in-person and virtual classes.
Please be on the lookout for important school communication outlining this detailed information in early to mid August.
As we start with virtual learning for all students, the 2020-21 bell schedule is:
- Classes start at 9:15 am
- The student school day ends at 4:00 pm
Meal service is between the 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. each weekday.
BMP Librarian, Ms. Watson, reminds you about the Summer Reading Board! It is filled with mini-challenges and online reading resources.
In addition, we have lots of new electronic books available to students for reading starting this summer. Please have your child log in to the library database using their ID number and student password to check these out.
To help your child get ready for the virtual start of the school year, you will want to be sure that you know or have access to the following FCPS Resources:

Technology Help Request Form - This connects you directly with one of our technology support staff to help you with any questions or problems you are having with the laptop or mifi.
Your Child's FCPS Email Account - Every student in FCPS has an email account which we use to send the links to classes by just clicking a link.
SIS ParentVue - This is for parents only. It allows you to see your child's grades, updated contact information, and gives you access to a parent account for FCPS 24-7 Learning. It links all of your children into one account.
FCPS 24-7 Learning - This allows parents to access a variety of learning resources and practice activities includes distance learning packets from Spring 2020.

How to access FCPS 24-7 Learning
Are you wanting to donate school supplies for students in need? The Foundation for FCPS is raising funds to purchase school supply kits that will be provided to the nearly 60,000 students who may not be able to afford to purchase their own. A $50 contribution to Collect for Kids will provide school supplies for 5 students.
