Franklin Families and Students,
Good afternoon. We hope this message finds you well. Thank you to all of the Franklin students who turned in their laptop this morning. It was great to see you!
If you weren't able to stop by FMS today, you can drop your laptop off tomorrow morning from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
In order to receive their new FCPSOn equipment for the 2020-21 school year, all Rising 8th grade and Rising 9th grade students who received a device from FMS for the 2019-20 school year need to return the laptop and charger to Franklin Middle School. Rising 8th grade students will receive a brand-new device from Franklin in August and Rising 9th grade students will receive a device from their high school. Students do not have to be present for the return of these items.
Prior to arriving:
- Remove all personal stickers and decals.
- Clean device to the best of your ability.
- Have your charger ready to turn in with your laptop.
Upon arrival:
- Please pull in the bus loop and pull up to the laptop collection station near Door #2.
- Be prepared to wait for a brief amount of time so that we may scan in the devices.
- If applicable, we ask that you return any library books or other school-issued items at this time as well.
Each laptop’s bar code is linked to its assigned student, so an email will be sent to the primary student contact to confirm receipt. If you are unable to return your laptop on the provided dates, you may schedule a drop-off day using this form. Please contact Mr. Gibbs at ragibbs@fcps.edu if you have any questions.
