New AP Announcement
It is with great pleasure that I would like to introduce you to our new AP Christina “Chris” Cashman. She will be replacing Ms. Statz who will be going to Hayfield Secondary School. Ms. Statz and Ms. Cashman are both amazing veteran APs so it is bittersweet for West Potomac. We will definitely miss Ms. Statz, but you will see her at many Hayfield/West Po events. We wish her well at her new school!
Ms. Cashman will be joining the West Potomac team effective July 20. Christina has 20 years of educational experience in FCPS, including being a classroom teacher at Frost MS, serving as School Based Technology Specialist and Assessment Coach at Kilmer MS, and most recently as Assistant Principal at Hayfield Secondary. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in History at James Madison University and her Master of Education degree in Administration and Supervision (PreK-12) from George Mason University. Ms. Cashman grew up in the Alexandria area and lives with her husband and two elementary-aged children in Fairfax County. She is an avid Washington Nationals fan and enjoys reading and going to her kids’ sports events in her spare time. Welcome to the Wolverine Family Ms. Cashman!
