Good Morning Garfield Eagles,
I hope that you are all finding some time to do things that bring you joy during these continuously stressful days. As we continue the process to appoint our new principal, I will be serving in the acting principal position. I am excited to provide this consistency for our community. As a reminder, there is the opportunity for your children to check in with a grade level teacher each week through the week of July 27th. Your child has received a link in their fcpsschools.net gmail account. Please see the schedule below for the weekly time slot for each grade/specialty.
 If you have not yet completed your selected choice for the fall, please do so at your nearest convenience. Selections are due by next Friday, July 10th. If you have any questions regarding this matter please reach out to me. My email is rawaters@fcps.edu. Additionally, the PTA is excited to be hosting a Zoom meeting next Wednesday at 7:00 in order to support any questions that you may have regarding the choices that are available. Please Submit questions for that meeting ahead of time to ensure they discuss anything that might be important for the Garfield community. A recording will be made available.
