Dear Wakefield Forest Families,
I know that this has been a tough week for many of you, as you wrestle with the challenging decision for the next school year. Please know that whatever decision you make, we will support you and your children as best we can. As of this morning, we have heard about placement decisions for about 175 WFES students for the 2020-21 school year. The deadline to elect either virtual instruction 4 days per week or in-person instruction 2 days per week is July 10, 2020. The default selection is in-person instruction 2 days per week.
To select the option that works best for your child or children, please follow the steps below:
• STEP 1: Access the online form at: https://www.fcps.edu/enroll2020 .
• STEP 2: Log in with your child’s Student ID and either the enrolling parent’s email address or phone number on file in the FCPS Student Information System (SIS).
• STEP 3: Make your selection and finish by clicking the “Submit Form” button at the bottom of the form.
• STEP 4: Check your email for a message acknowledging receipt of your enrollment decision with additional information about the enrollment process and a link to change your selection, if desired.
• STEP 5: Repeat this process for each of your children attending school in FCPS for school year 2020-21.

Dr. Brabrand will hold a Town Hall Meeting on Monday, July 6 at 6:30 pm and will be prepared to answer as many questions as he can.
