Dear Families,
This week we returned over 450 student belonging bags while still distributing laptops. What a busy week! We understand that not all families were able to pick up due to the morning hours provided. Therefore, next week we will have two more days scheduled for pick up in the late afternoon.
The schedule will be Tuesday, June 9th and Wednesday, June 10th from 3-5 pm.
When you arrive, please stay in your cars and we will place the bag in the trunk or back seat of your vehicle.
To assist us, we are asking that you create a sign with your child’s name and teacher’s name. Please display the sign as you enter the parking lot. This will decrease wait time.
For those of you that have more than one child at Glen Forest, please list all children on your sign and their teachers’ names, so we can collect all your children’s bags at one time. This will prevent you from having to make multiple trips to school.
After receiving your child’s bag, we ask that you drop off any school materials; such as, band and string instruments, library books and classroom reading books. There will be bins labeled for these items in front of the school. Please see the map for driving directions.
 The last station is for those who need to pick up their children’s medications and for those receiving refunds. Guidelines will be posted as to the procedure to pick up these items to ensure we adhere to the Health Department’s recommendations.
If you are feeling ill or have been asked by the Health Department to quarantine, please do not come to school. Stay home and we will arrange another time for you and your family that is more convenient.
We wish you and your family a wonderful weekend and appreciate your patience during this unprecedented time. Please know that we miss you and your children and can’t wait to reconnect in the fall.
