It is our honor to serve our community as educators and to partner with you in your child’s education. An education of the mind without the education of the heart is no education at all. We have seen tremendous heart and resilience from our students, staff, and families over the past months, and I personally want to thank you for your partnership and support. I know that our path forward as a school division for the fall will become more clear over the coming weeks. No matter what, I have learned that this community can overcome whatever challenges lie ahead.

End of Year Car Parade Celebration
Friday, June 12th from 2 - 3 PM
We are excited to announce that we are offering a Car Parade celebration for ALL students and their families!!
You are encouraged to show your student name in a window of your car and to decorate your car with signage and balloons. We understand you may want to pass along gifts to the teachers, and to keep everyone safe we are asking that gifts are not exchanged at this time. Thanks in advance for understanding!
The staff will line the sidewalk in front of the building. For the safety of everyone participating we must follow social distancing guidelines and all students and family members are asked to remain in their cars.
The weather looks great, but in case of a weather event, the parade will not be rescheduled. If you need one last chance to pick up locker materials or return any items, please go to the Kiss N’ Ride Loop before or after you travel through the Bus Loop for the parade. We will have a staff member outside the cafeteria to connect with you.

Summer Reading Program for LMS students
Attention students : To play reading Bingo, complete the squares and make Bingos.
Every student is required to complete the middle square of a free choice book in order to fulfill the summer reading requirement, and the
rest of the board is for fun (optional).

Talent Share 2020
Liberty Middle School is proud to present our Virtual Talent Share! This year's performance features several of our 7th and 8th graders and a wide range of acts. National Junior Honor Society
Our National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) has wrapped up the school by recognizing student members for their positive contributions in our community. Congratulations to our members, officers, and to our students who earned special recognition for academics and service hours in NJHS. Congratulations to the awesome Liberty Middle School 8th grade members of NJHS who met the membership requirements and received their NJHS pin in a virtual pinning ceremony.
Team Awards
Although we value and love all of our students, the teams at Liberty Middle School were asked to select two students that stood out and truly excelled this year. These students embody the characteristics of a Liberty Lion. They are positive, hardworking, and compassionate towards others. Their teachers are proud of how they have grown. The families will receive a letter in the mail with the personal write-ups from their student’s teachers. We want to say Congratulations to the following students:
