We will be offering student material pick-up on June 1st. We have organized this pick-up by your child's last name to avoid families with multiple children needing to come more than once.
We ask that you drive through our kiss and ride line and stay in your car. Please post a piece paper in your car window that has all of your children's names and grades.
For example:
Bob E. Cat- 1st grade
Bobbie Cat- 4th grade
This will allow us to quickly locate your bags and bring them to the car. If you are not able to come in a car, there will be cones set-up along the sidewalk. You will wait at each cone, and someone will bring your items to you. We ask that you still bring a paper that has all of your children's names and grade levels. Please note that this will take longer than car service.
Children are NOT required to come with you for item pick-up. We do ask that if possible, you bring back the following items when you come:
- Library Books
- Brag Bags with books in them
- Patrol Belts
- Instruments
Unless you are leaving FCPS, please DO NOT bring back any borrowed laptops. Even if you are going to another FCPS school, we ask that you hold onto your current device.

To ensure your safety Pine Spring is committed to following the guidelines set by the CDC and the Fairfax County Health Department. This means limiting exposure as much as possible and keeping a 6 feet separation between families if you are outside of your car. While this process may be more time consuming, we ask that you follow the protocol for your safety, as well as the safety of the Pine Spring Team.
We will be asking the following pre-screening health questions:
- Do you have a cough or sore throat?
- Have you had a fever in the last 3 days?
- Do you have any shortness of breath?
- Is anyone in your house ill with a fever or cough?
- Have you had any contact with someone known to have or under investigation for Coronavirus in the last 14 days?
If you answered yes to any of the above questions, you will have to be rescheduled for a later date and time.

We hope to see everyone at Pine Spring in the fall. However, if your life takes you in a different direction, please be sure to reach out to Ms. Breeden for support. She will be able to help you with the withdrawal paperwork and will schedule a time for you to drop off any borrowed FCPS materials such as laptops and MIFI devices.
