2020-21 Kindergarten and New Student Registration Signup Form

We're excited to welcome our newest students for the 2020-21 school year!

To join us, first determine if your student lives in the Sunrise Valley ES boundary by viewing the FCPS boundary locator. 

If your student does live in the Sunrise Valley ES boundary, please fill out the new student registration form . This form will be submitted to Christie Panameno, our school registrar, who will be able to assist you with the new student registration process.

Yearbooks

There were some production delays due to the pandemic but the yearbooks are on track to arrive at school the week of June 15.  As soon as they come in, we’ll let you know how and when to pick up your copy.  We’ll have a drive-up distribution in the parking lot.  If you missed the deadline to pre-order a yearbook, any extra yearbooks will be on sale at that time as well.  Stay tuned!       

Down in the Valley Open Mic Session 6

We are excited for our Down in the Valley Open Mic Session 6 on Thursday, May 28th at 5pm via Blackboard Collaborate Ultra.  This week’s session is back to the traditional open mic night that we began with back in April.  If you play an instrument, sing, dance or want to showcase an artwork, we’d love to have you join us!

*All acts should be school appropriate*

Helpful Hints:  Have a parent or capable sibling hold the computer or phone for the performer.  Be close enough to the camera for the audience to hear and see clearly.  If the first attempt at performing doesn’t go as planned, just re-raise your hand when you’re ready and I’ll call on you for a second try.
