KG Student Belonging Distribution 5.27.20

Student Belonging Distribution - Last Call!

Dear Kent Gardens Families,

We are well into our second day of the student belongings distribution.  We still have many student items in the building.  If you have not signed up for a slot, please do so today.  Our final pick up day is tomorrow so please note the information below to sign up.

Note that some families may choose not to pick up the students’ belongings. If that is your decision, please complete the google form ONLY IF YOU ARE NOT PICKING UP the student belongings. This form will allow us to dispose of the belongings immediately.

In addition, we have held two sessions for medicine pick up.  If you still would like to pick up your medication, please email Pier McGrath at psmcgrath@fcps.edu.

We have also collected many students’ jackets left in the classrooms.  We will hang the clothing on the fence for your retrieval. Note that only one person per car may approach the fence to retrieve the item.  The items will be donated if left at the school.

Directions for Student Belonging Pick Up

Our final distribution day is Thursday - May 28th. The following steps should be taken:

Review the Health Screening Questionnaire – if you answer ‘yes’ to any of the questions, let administration know that you will need to delay pick up at this time.

  • Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment and wear a mask. You will be greeted as you drive into the Kent Gardens. The names of your children should be displayed in the passenger window. (see next bullet).

  • On an 8 ½ x 11 piece of paper, print the student’s first and last name (include all students in the family) on a piece of paper and tape it to the front, passenger window before coming to Kent Gardens ES.

  • The KG staff will direct you to turn into the bus loop. When directed, please open your trunk or sliding door if you have the capacity to do so without getting out of your vehicle. If not, please be sure it is unlocked.
