Updated Student Pick-up Schedule

Dear Bonnie Brae Families,

 

Please read the updated schedule for student pick up below.  We will conduct student pick up by grade level. If a student has medication, you will need to sign for it at your vehicle.  Please look at your specific date and time.  If you have children at multiple grade levels, you can wait until June 8th. 

We will be hosting the required Vehicle Curbside Pickup of these items by grade level on the following days in the Bonnie Brae Kiss N Ride area and Bus Loop: You will be asked to pop the trunk so that items can be placed inside.

Please note that by filling out this form, your student’s items will not be bagged or available for pick-up. School supplies may be donated or saved for future use by the school.

Returning items!

Please read below. You only need to turn in an instrument or laptop if you are a 6th grader and/or you are moving!  Everyone else will keep their laptops and instruments until further information is provided.

We will have a spot identified where students can return items that they have borrowed from school and or their teacher (books-classroom or library, patrol belts, etc.). 

Instrument Drop off (6th grade only and students moving)

If you are MOVING or have RENTED an instrument from the school or county or you are a 6th grader, we will be collecting your instrument on your scheduled pick up day.

 


Promotion

6th grade Curbside Ceremony, June 10th at 9:30 am


The "curbside" promotion ceremony will take place on the original date, June 10th at 9:30 am. The "curbside" celebration will take place in the bus loop. Teachers will be there to celebrate our 6th graders by handing out promotion certificates, awards, trophies and medals for all their accomplishments as you and your family drive thru.

There will not be opportunities to take photos with staff at this time.  FCPS must follow the strict guidelines from the health department on social distancing.  If that changes before June 10th, you'll be the first to know

The school will be decorated with balloons and yard signs that you and your family can access before and after the entire celebration is over to commemorate their final days at Bonnie Brae. This is a small celebration to honor their hard work and the time we've spent together at Bonnie Brae over the years.  More details about this very special day will come soon so that you may plan accordingly.

Please note that staffing for next school year is supported by early registration. Please contact the school registrar as soon as you can. We appreciate your support in this effort!  This helps to keep class sizes at optimal numbers for the best learning environment for all students.

All registrations will be done by email.  Please use the link below to find the form for registering your child.  Since Covid19, we've made some adjustments.
