Spring Sports Uniform/Equipment Collection and Pick-up   

 

Greetings Parents and Student Athletes

We have good news to share! FCPS District leadership has authorized Athletic Departments to begin scheduling spring uniform and equipment collection. Athletes will not be permitted to enter the Team Room facilities. However, Athletes that need to retrieve their personal gear and equipment can pick-up their personal gear at Door #9. The Office of Student Activities has scheduled Friday, May 22 and Friday, May 29 for all spring sports athletes to drop off their uniforms,equipment and pick up their gear. In order to ensure that we are following the appropriate social distancing guidelines we ask that you please pay close attention to the guidelines below to ensure that we maintain the safest collection environment as possible. 

Social Distancing Guidelines Collection Procedures & Drop Off Schedule

  1. Athletes and Parents will utilize the kiss and ride lane at Door #9 to hand off Uniforms and Equipment. Athletes and parents must remain in their car. 
  2. The Activities Office staff will be stationed at Door #9 to receive uniforms and equipment. All Activities Office personnel will wear mask and gloves.  
  3. All equipment in the Team Rooms will be packed up by the Activities Staff and placed outside on the sidewalk at entrance #9 for distribution by the activities staff.
  4. We ask that athletes return uniforms/equipment in plastic bags, clearly marked with name, sport, and a description of the items returned.
  5. Students who need to pick-up gear will be asked to fill out a Team Locker Room Clean out questionnaire (Google form) to assist the activities staff with the identification of our spring athletes personal athletic gear.
  6. Please fill out the Team Room Clean out Questionnaire as soon as possible.

Friday, May 22 10AM-2PM and Friday, May 29 10AM-2PM

 

 *Spring Coaches will also connect with their teams about the Uniform and Equipment Collection/Pick-up schedule and procedures*
