THE MUSTANG WEEKLY

MAY 11th, 2020

During the FCPS closure, most of our communications will continue to be sent to our community via the eNotify system. However, we want to also send out our Mustang Weekly with information specific to the SCMS community.

Dear South County Middle School Community,

It has been a GREAT week of learning at South County MS.  I had the pleasure of visiting several classes this week. Thank you to Ms. Blain, Ms. Bolton, Mr. Singh, Mr. Rodriguez, Mr. Patton, Mr. Schneider, Mr. McCormick, Ms. Downing, Mr. Miller, Mr. McLeod, Ms. Myers, Mr. Niehoff, Mr. Patton, Mr. Schneider, Ms. Neff, and Mr. Verdin for welcoming me into your classrooms and showcasing the outstanding learning activities students have been engaged in through synchronous learning sessions!  Our teachers and students are doing amazing things in the Distance Learning format and continue to learn and grow!

Thank YOU for helping us celebrate our Marvelous Mustang staff this week during Staff Appreciation Week and Nurse Appreciation Day. The SCMS PTSO generously supported many surprises for our staff throughout the week including an awesome “thank you” video. https://www.tribute.co/scms-staff-appreciation-week/

Lastly, I hope all the moms on the SCMS staff and in our community had a very Happy Mother's Day this weekend!

As always, please let me know if you have any questions.
