KG 5.10.20 Update

Administration Notes

Dear Parents,

We had a great week with virtual/synchronous learning!  Thanks again for your support of Teacher Appreciation and our teachers’ work.  We are working to connect with all students on a personal level.  Should you feel your child needs some special attention or love – please do reach out to your teacher(s) and/or administration.  We all enjoy making connections and supporting.  Note that the counselors’ corner below also contains information regarding webinars and other ways to support families.

We will continue with the Parent Coffees. If you have questions, please input your questions here.  If you wish to ask and share during the morning coffee that is fine as well.  The link to the Tuesday Parent Coffee is here.  It will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at 8 a.m. which should avoid any conflicts with the virtual learning.

Note that we are making plans for collection of student items and medicines. We will be releasing information and hope to start distribution the week of May 22nd but note this date may change. Detailed information will be forthcoming. We will also communicate regarding the return of library books and laptops that have been distributed.

Sixth grade room parents remitted information to the students regarding the Virtual Farewell ceremony. If you haven’t received the information, please do reach out to one of us – the administrators will forward to you.

Other end of year items that we will be communicating about include:

  • Band and Strings Decision/Sign Up
  • Chorus Participation/Sign Up
  • Patrols Sign Up
  • End of Year Class Virtual Celebration

Happy Mother's Day to all!!

Warmly and virtually,

Holly McGuigan            Pier McGrath                          Tia Hawkins
