Saratoga PTA
Dear Saratoga Parents and Guardians,
Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up next week (May 4th-8th)! Although we have been away from school for a few weeks, we still want to show our teachers how much we appreciate all their hard work during the school year and during this distance learning adventure we've all been on.
We have a few ideas on how to say thank you:
1.Help us create a school wide collage!
We have an idea to show our Saratoga Teachers how our kids are doing their schoolwork from home. The next time your kiddo is sitting down to work on their virtual lessons, take a couple of pictures and send them to us. We will be making a collage of all students hard at work, appreciating their virtual teaching efforts! ***Bonus points if you can get their teacher’s name in the picture (on the computer/tablet, of course).***
If for some reason you cannot get a picture of your child doing schoolwork, you can send over another picture you have on hand. We know all the Saratoga Staff miss the students dearly and would love to see their faces!
2. Send a thank you directly to teachers!
Send letters, pictures or videos from their student saying thank you and why they are appreciated. Attached you will find a thank you poster (as an option) and a spreadsheet of all our staff members emails (don’t forget our PE, art, and music teachers as well as our counselors and teacher assistants).
3. Interested in sending a gift? Do you have other ideas?
We have attached some information to help:
Please send us your pictures of your child doing their work by THIS Saturday, May 2. To our email saratogaespta@gmail.com. If you are sending pictures and letters directly to your teachers as well, please wait to send them until next week!
Please let us know if you have any questions or further ideas.
Thank you,
Saratoga PTA
