Timber Lane Elementary School Updates
Fairfax County Public Schools sent this bulletin at 04/26/2020 04:05 PM EDT
Hello Timber Lane families,
We hope you are well and looking forward to an uninterrupted week of learning and connecting with your favorite Timber Lane teachers! By now you have heard from your child's teacher regarding any changes to the live/synchronous opportunities for students to connect with their teachers and classmates. We empowered each grade level to pursue the synchronous tool that will be the easiest for families to work with while being the most reliable for teachers to use. As we have done over the past few weeks we will continue to always have a "Plan B" in our pocket so we can still connect with you all, at all times. I am incredibly impressed with how our teachers have found ways to continue to provide live connections with students around each of these ups and downs!
Your child's schedule should have opportunities to take advantage of working with a specials teacher once per day, as well as times to view recordings or connect live with ESOL and Special Education Teachers. We also have AAP resources shared from Mrs. Langford as well, which will still be available through the TLES BB/24/7 page. If you have any difficulty accessing those options, please email your child's teacher for further clarification.
We would like to thank our teachers again for their work over the past weeks as they have navigated the ups and downs through different platforms, trainings, and taking on new learning opportunities...all to connect the best way possible to your children. I thank you for your emails showing appreciation for our staff and understanding they have been doing everything they can to connect with your children.
Thank you for your ongoing patience, support, and willingness to adapt with us.
Ben Chiet
Principal
