Pine Spring Families,
We are excited to share that Pine Spring has been given the opportunity to make decisions that we feel will provide strong synchronous learning opportunities for our students. Starting Thursday, we will be moving our live lessons from Blackboard to Google. What this means for you is that your child's online instruction will be accessed in one place, their Google Classroom. We hope that this will alleviate some of the frustration and confusion families are currently feeling.
In order to ensure all our staff are properly trained on the new features, and that they are given an opportunity to make adjustments, we will focus on asynchronous learning for April 22, 2020.
Tomorrow you will receive an email with video directions on how to access your child's virtual classroom for Thursday's live lesson in Google Meet.
Our plan is to use Thursday to reconnect with students in the live setting and work out any final kinks so that new learning can begin on Monday.
