Distance Learning

We recognize the past few days have been challenging as the launch of synchronous instruction within our Distance Learning Plan did not go as expected. We appreciate the understanding and flexibility you have all shown as we continue to work through Distance Learning.

Please keep in mind that the synchronous learning is only a portion of the learning plan. I encourage you to continue to use the all of components in the plan to support your child's learning. In addition to the live lessons and the learning packets, FCPS has also produced educational content on Channel 21 and  FCPS webpage. We also suggest that you checkout the student web resources on the Pine Spring Website. 

While we are hopeful that FCPS Blackboard 24-7 will be functioning tomorrow, our Pine Spring teachers have taken the extra step to prepare lessons for asynchronous learning in the event that Blackboard is still down.

If Blackboard is down tomorrow, you will receive a message from your child's teacher with how to access their lesson. If you have not been receiving messages from your child's teacher, please check your child's email. This means that we do not have an accurate email address for you. In that case I also encourage you to reach out to Ms. Breeden so that we can update your information. 

virtual Spirit Week

Let's have a little fun together this week. The Falls Church Pyramid is coming together to do one large Spirit Week. We encourage the entire family to join in on the fun.
