For today, Wednesday, April 15, teachers will not hold synchronous or live learning sessions in order to make the adjustments to the learning platform with the enhanced features.
As you are aware, there has been a change in our schedule today that was determined by the division. During this delay, the Sunrise Valley staff is being trained on a new feature provided in Blackboard to all teachers in the division. This new feature will provide a better learning environment for teachers and students in every class.
The Blackboard Collaborate links that your child received prior to today are no longer valid, and students should delete that email. Students will now be able to access their teachers’ Blackboard Collaborate Ultra sessions directly from their class page in Blackboard 24-7.They will need to login to Blackboard 24-7 to access the session link. This new feature will also make keeping track of each teachers’ Blackboard Collaborate Ultra sessions easier for students.
