Renovation Update
Renovation has continued to move along as construction is considered an essential business. The main entrance and the new addition is nearing completion. If you drive past, you will notice considerable work happening throughout the campus. Check out Twitter or Instagram for the latest pictures.

General Information
Distance Learning Plan
Tomorrow is the day! We are launching our distance learning plan officially on Tuesday April 14. We are excited to reconnect with our students again on a regular basis. Please remember this is new for all of us, it will take adjustments. The staff are excited for their virtual classrooms, but know this will be a learning curve for all. We cannot possibly replicate face-to-face instruction, but we are trying to find ways to engage students in learning in this new format.

To better keep in touch with students during this time, information will routinely be posted on the Class level google classrooms.

Office Hours
Staff office hours will be posted on individual teacher blackboard sites and google classrooms. To help students keep track, we have created a template to help them with both their synchronous sessions and office hours. This template can only be accessed with students logging into their fcpsschools.net accounts.
Next Steps
A comprehensive communication will be forthcoming this week regarding final grade calculations and attendance. I will also be sending along an updated FAQ document. I want to stress again how important it is that all students engage in distance learning. Our focus will be on preparing students for their progressive course levels in the fall. Next week we will plan a virtual parent coffee to check in and answer any remaining questions you may have. We will continue to have town hall meetings for students as well.
