PRC Open During FCPS Distance Learning

We are Open: Virtually!



The FCPS Parent Resource Center continues to provide direct assistance to families, educators and community members. 

For example, the PRC can help you:

  • Learn about the options, services, and resources available to help your child and family within FCPS and the community
  • Learn how to work collaboratively with your child’s school
  • Understand your child’s disability and special needs
  • Provide tools so that you may better advocate for your child

Topics addressed at the PRC include but are not limited to:

During these school closures the PRC is providing:

  • Free Consultations: By phone, video conference or email: We brainstorm strategies and possible solutions to help you successfully address your concerns by providing resources and support from FCPS, community, state, and national centers. Parent Resource Center professionals are staff members with extensive knowledge, training and experience. 
  • Free Archived Workshops: Online access to over 50 workshops held at the PRC
  • Virtual Workshops: The PRC is currently creating virtual workshops on a variety of topics to support your child and your family during this time of distance learning.
