CVHS Information

Wildcat Community,

As a follow-up to Dr. Brabrand’s message, I want to reiterate that the most important thing to keep in mind is the health and well-being of our students, families, and staff.

The school will be open from 9:00 - 2:00 on Monday, March 16, for students to access their belongings.  Please make sure students have their laptops and any other materials they may need from the school.  Students will need to enter the main entrance and come to the main office when entering the school.

Please note the language in the Superintendent’s message around student learning during this school closure.  Staff will be working to provide continuation of learning opportunities and resources for students.  As directed, these are to be optional and non-graded.  We encourage parents to partner with us as we seek to keep students engaged in learning.  We know this will require a great deal of flexibility and understanding on everyone's part as we navigate this new territory.  We want students to continue learning, but also recognize this is an unprecedented circumstance requiring a lot of patience.

I know many students will be concerned about grades, SOL tests, AP exams, graduation, college acceptances, etc…  I ask that we do our best to take a deep breath and relax for now.  Everyone’s health is the priority, and we will get through this together.

I will share more guidance as I have information, but please enjoy this weekend and stay safe.
