Student Laptop Preparation for Distance Learning


As a reminder, Monday is a student holiday.  Our staff will be working diligently to prepare for the chance that schools may be closed for a period of time. 

In order to prepare for the potential of distance learning, it is essential that we check to make sure student’s laptops are functioning properly and good to go should they need to access instruction from home.  Please speak with your students and ensure they bring their laptops tomorrow, March 13.  During our Advisory period, we will have teachers and students run a quick diagnostic and to report any issues to our Technology Team.  Additionally, we will provide laptop power adaptors to those students who have misplaced or lost theirs.  If students require a replacement adaptor, a fee will be placed on their accounts for $28 to be paid via MySchoolBucks.    If a student then finds their original power adaptor, they may return the new adaptor for a refund.
