Your Views and Opinions Are Important to Us!

This spring all Irving Middle School parents/guardians will be contacted through email with a link to the FCPS Principal Evaluation Parent/Guardian Feedback Form Online. This survey is part of the Performance Evaluation Program and offers parents/guardians an opportunity to provide anonymous input about various issues related to our school.  These issues include instructional leadership, school climate, human resources management, organizational management, communication and community relations and professionalism.

The survey will be collected online between March 12 and March 26.  When you receive an email from FCPS Surveys, please take a few minutes to complete the survey.  Your opinions matter.

“Go Paperless” Report Card Option Now Available

Starting with 3rd quarter, high school and middle school parents will now have the option to “Go Paperless” in ParentVUE and receive only online report cards. To take advantage of the paperless options, parents/guardians will need to log into ParentVUE, then go to “My Account” and select "Go Paperless!". All parents who share the same address as the student must have a SIS ParentVue account and must select the paperless option.

Library News

Finished your book and have nothing to read?  Take a look at the Irving MS Library’s collection of eBooks and audiobooks:  Irving’s Library Catalog.  Students can login to their Destiny Discover library account and then click on “MackinVIA” in the Learning Links to access our digital books. They should use their FCPS username and password for access. Have fun exploring all the great books!

SAVE THE DATE!  We’re excited to announce that the Irving Library will be holding a Scholastic Book Fair April 14th through the 16th.  We will have both school-day hours and evening hours.  More details to come.
