Message from the Principal

Wildcat Parents,

Thank you for your patience and flexibility over the last couple of weeks as FCPS grapples with the impact of the COVID-19 virus.  These are challenging times, but I am proud of the way the Wildcat community has supported each other and demonstrated a partnership with the school in working through the complexities.  We are continuously monitoring the situation and will adjust as needed.  As a school staff, we are taking the steps outlined by the division to address concerns and to be prepared as best we can for any next steps.  We remain focused on staying positive while supporting students and ensuring quality daily instruction.   Please continue to check FCPS' Coronavirus page for all COVID-19 updates.

I want to send my congratulations to the boys basketball team for an outstanding season.  I know we are all cheering for them as they play in the state finals on Saturday, March 14.  It has been fun to watch how the team has rallied the community this winter season.

As always, it is my pleasure to serve as principal of this great school, and I look forward to seeing many of you this spring at various events.  Go Wildcats!

School Health Services Survey

The Fairfax County Health Department (FCHD) employs school health aides and public health nurses who provide school health services to the students in Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS). To determine the quality of these services, a survey has been developed by the FCHD to be shared with all parents or guardians and school staff members who interact with the school health rooms. The survey has been approved for distribution by the FCPS’ Internal Survey Advisory Committee. Electronic versions of the survey forms may be assessed at:

School Health Services Survey – Parents 2020: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/K9VWCJ6 approval # 20217

School Health Services Survey-Parents 2020 (Spanish): https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/K7KGXTS approval #20217
