Dear Franklin Families,
A message was sent to you yesterday from FCPS designating Monday, March 16th as a Student Holiday. This will provide an opportunity for staff to prepare for the possibility of distance learning in the event of a school(s) closure. We will use this day as a staff training day and all staff will report to work.
Please continue to closely monitor your email and the Coronavirus Update Page on the FCPS public website for information and updates. I’ve included a link of FAQs which is available in multiple languages. Additional resources are available below that will help all of us stay informed.
Additionally, it has come to our attention that our Franklin Student Planners contain a typo on page 2 under 2019-2020 School Year Calendar. To clarify, Friday, March 13th is a regular, even-block school day and student attendance is expected as scheduled.
