Dear Sangster Parents,
There has been a lot in the news lately about COVID-19. This is an evolving situation and Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) has created a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and information page that is updated regularly as we receive more information from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). At Sangster we are following all Fairfax County Health Department (FCHD) and CDC guidelines, along with direction from our Superintendent. We are encouraging students to practice good hygiene: wash your hands, cover your cough, and stay home if you are sick.
As you finalize your Spring Break travel plans, please check the CDC website for warnings regarding traveling to different countries. You can check https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/index.html for more information about travel.
