Recent Student Successes
This is the next installment for the school year of what has become a weekly segment aimed at recognizing students for demonstrating recent improvement or achievement in academics, behavior or citizenship. At the end of each recognition, you will see the name of the nominating teacher or staff member. On a rotating basis, departments will nominate students. I plan to meet with recognized students each week to congratulate them in person.

Barkath Tarzi's thirst for knowledge is inspirational. His time management skills, inquiring mind, and work ethic facilitates his skills development. He is a reliable go-to student when tasks need to get done. In class, he willingly takes the time to share his knowledge with others. We are grateful to have him in class and look forward to his future path within the industry. Mr. Ken Brown and Mr. Pat Zook
- I am pleased to be able to acknowledge Vijay Thakoorie's accomplishments in his Tech Ed classes. Over the last year and a half, Vijay has maintained high standards and a positive work ethic. He is not distracted by his phone and maintains his focus during class. As we move through the different units, students typically show greater interest and work harder in certain ones. Their quality of work and the amount of time that they spend on activities will vary based on their interests. This has not been the case with Vijay. He always shows a genuine interest in the different units of study. He puts forth his best effort for each and every assignment. Keep up the good work, Vijay! Ms. Susan Chudovan
