New Attendance Form!
https://poems.fcps.edu/
Or Call (703) 813-3800
Poe Middle School recently updated its website to include an online attendance form. It is available for use beginning Monday morning, February 10th, 2020 and will route directly to the main office attendance team. The online attendance form is an additional tool to use when your child is absent.
The attendance phone number will continue to be an option as well. On the form, there is a box which says the form is to only be filled out by the student's parent/legal guardian and this box must be checked prior to submission. To use the form, please go to the Poe website at https://poems.fcps.edu and choose the Online attendance form option

After-School Program
Updated After-School Program Schedule
Our updated After-School Program schedule is now available. We are excited to be starting several new activities over the coming weeks! Did you know that students who participate in after-school more frequently perform better academically and attend school more regularly?
Last week's ASP Student of the Week was Fatima Orellana Rivas! Fatima was an amazing student helper throughout the entire week! She assisted with getting attendance, setting up the cafeteria, taking computers to the activities, picking up walkie-talkies, and preparing for the meals.
The ASP Student of the Week for this week is Tony Zimmerman! Tony is a committed participant in our Special Olympics program and has grown in his skills and teamwork each practice. He also did a fantastic job at last weekend's Special Olympics basketball tournament!

Poe will be going to the event on Saturday, February 22nd at Leesylvania State Park in Woodbridge.
