New Attendance Form!

Or Call (703) 813-3800

Poe Middle School recently updated its website to include an online attendance form.  It is available for use beginning Monday morning, February 10th, 2020 and will route directly to the main office attendance team.  The online attendance form is an additional tool to use when your child is absent.

The attendance phone number will continue to be an option as well. On the form, there is a box which says the form is to only be filled out by the student's parent/legal guardian and this box must be checked prior to submission.  To use the form, please go to the Poe website at https://poems.fcps.edu and choose the Online attendance form option.

On a Roll Celebration

Our students had a great second quarter and we are looking forward to celebrating our students’ success through an Honor Roll (On a Roll) celebration.  Students that have all A’s or A’s and B during second quarter will be invited to a celebration during Raven Time.  Sixth grade students will celebrate on February 13th during Raven Time and seventh and eighth grade students will celebrate on February 14th during Raven Time.  We encourage you and your student to check SIS student/parent view to verify grades as well.

Please contact Mrs. Aiello, Director of Student Services, at baaiello@fcps.edu if you would like to volunteer.  Thank you in advance for your support!

Special Olympics Polar Plunge

We are excited to announce that our Poe Special Olympics program will be participating in this year's Polar Plunge!  The Polar Plunge is a series of events hosted by Special Olympics Virginia at which supporters brave the cold and plunge into the icy waters to fundraise money for this important cause.  Poe will be going to the event on Saturday, February 22nd at Leesylvania State Park in Woodbridge.

If you are interested in participating or making a donation, please check out our Poe team page using the following link: https://impact.specialolympicsva.org/team/275560.  Additional information can also be found at: https://polarplunge.com/prince-william/
