High School students, their parents and/or guardians and community members are invited to learn about exciting work-based learning opportunities through the Youth Registered and Registered Apprenticeship programs. Information will be provided about career related opportunities and employers will be on-site to help guide participants to promising careers.

FCPS and NVCC (NOVA) are offering an opportunity for students with disabilities to learn about available options. The conference will include a presentation from Disability Services, a student panel and a Q&A session.

The Career and Technical Education (CTE) office is excited to announce that we will be offering courses for credit this upcoming summer. Students currently in grades 10 and 11 can take the following courses for credit:
- Information Systems
- Teachers for Tomorrow
- Exploring Health Science
- Electrical Construction and Engineering 1
- Construction Tech 1
Courses are 4 weeks long and require 140 hours for credit. They are held at various locations within the county and transportation will be provided for some courses. Contact school counselor, Greta Thomas, for details.
