Dear FHES Families,
This morning, your child was informed about an upcoming practice lockdown drill that will occur at some point during the school day today. Remember, a lockdown drill is put into place to keep all of our children safe when an unwelcome visitor is found on campus. While today’s drill is only a practice, we want all of students to know what to do in case of such an emergency and to be prepared no matter the time of day.
We are working to ensure that this drill is a complete success. Today, when the drill has ended, we will send out another message letting you know that we have finished our practice.
We thank you for your continued support of these endeavors. The state of Virginia has mandated that all schools practice lockdown drills four times per year, and this will be our third practice this school year.
