Student safety is of the utmost important to us. As a reminder, please ensure you are only picking up and dropping students off in the Kiss and Ride area of the school which is located in the back of the school. Student’s should not be dropped off in front of the building or on Locust Street and crossing. Please contact school administration if you have any questions about this. |
Your students are invited to the HMS Winter Snow Ball on Friday, January 31st from 6-8pm in the HMS cafeteria.
Please drop students off at 6pm and plan to pick up at 8pm sharp. $5 tickets are sold on My School Bucks or in the cafeteria the week of the dance. We will be selling pizza, snacks and water so please SEND CASH.
Please considering chaperoning or donating a concession item, decoration item or a lending a corn hole game. We will also need volunteers to help set up and clean up! SIGN UP HERE

At Herndon Middle School we have an elective called AVID which is about helping students prepare for college, set goals, and achieve their dreams. AVID is a national program that targets students considered ‘in the middle,’ meaning they do well in regular classes, but could take at least one honors course with additional support. Check the description to see if you fit into this awesome family we call AVID!

 Herndon Middle School is so lucky to have Mr. Erazo on the Safety & Security team and part of the staff. Not only does he do his work every day with a smile on his face, but he also goes out of his way to be a positive influence and connect with our students as a mentor. Way to go Mr. Erazo!
