Schools will be closed for students January 27-28 for a teacher workday and staff development day, respectively.


SIS Grade Book and Report Card Modules to Be Down Until February 1 at 6 a.m.

The Student Information System (SIS) Grade Book and Report Card Modules will be unavailable until Saturday, February 1, at 6 a.m.

January 30 - February 1:  All District XI Band HS/MS - Woodson HS

January 31:  Choral Cabaret Night - Gold Cafeteria

February 4 - February 14:  WIDA testing for middle and high school ELLs level 1-4

February 14: Cinderella - MS Drama

February 17: George Washington's Birthday/President's Day - Student Holiday

February 28: Puffs - HS Drama

March 3: Professional Development Day - Student Holiday

March 10 - March 11:  Writing SOL for grades 8 and 11 (2-day test)

April 3:  End of 3rd Quarter

April 6 - April 10:  Spring Break

April 13: Teacher Workday - Student Holiday

May 25:  Memorial Day - Student Holiday

June 3:  Graduation - Eagle Bank Arena @ GMU - No School for Grades 7-11

June 12: Last Day of School - Students Released Three Hours Early

The Brave Trails nonprofit program is offering a summer camp in Maryland for LGBTQ+ youth interested in learning leadership skills and creating positive change in their communities. It will be held from August 11 – August 20. More information about the camp, including activities and workshops offered, can be found at https://www.bravetrails.org/summer_camp/.
