Principal's Message

Dear Hughes Parents, Guardians, and Students

This week students reflected on the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr through a performance of Liner Notes: Music of a Movement. Thank you to the Reston Community Center for organizing this opportunity for students to hear music from the Civil Rights movement. While most students tuned-in to our in-school broadcast, some 250 students were able to catch the performance live in our Lecture Hall!

Fifteen students also received tickets for the full performance, courtesy of the Reston Community Center. Check out the full performance on Sunday, January 19th; see the Reston Community Center website for more details and to get tickets!

Sincerely,

Aimée Monticchio

Principal
