As a reminder, schools and offices will be closed on Monday, January 20, for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 21. Also, schools will be closed for students January 27-28 for a teacher workday and staff development day, respectively. January 24 is the last day of the second quarter.

Thank you to all the students who participated in the Yearbook Cover Art Contest. We were so impressed with the level of creativity and participation. All of the artwork submitted to the contest will be exhibited at Clermont in the coming month so be sure to take a look. The contest winner will be displayed on the front cover of the yearbook, and grade level winners will be arranged on the back cover. January 29, 2020 is the new date for Clermont Technology Night and the first PTA membership meeting of the New Year! We will meet at 6:30 PM in the Clermont cafeteria. You will gain valuable information on technology available for Clermont students to use at home including websites, applications and Google Suite, as well as online library services. Childcare will be provided by Edison HS leadership students and athletes. Look for more information about the meeting and technology night in Thursday folders.
This year’s Doodle for Google theme is: “I SHOW KINDNESS BY...” K-6 students may enter this contest by creating a doodle for Google using any materials (markers, crayons, paint, sharpies, colored pencils, digital media, etc.). Must be entered using the entry form, or you may submit online directly on the website. Winners will earn college scholarships, an opportunity to display your doodles on Google’s homepage.
