Next week, we focus on the Positivity Project (P2) character strength of PRUDENCE.  Prudence is described by P2 as follows:  You plan for the future and achieve your goals by making careful everyday choices.  For more information, see the Prudence card, or any other character strength card at https://camelotes.fcps.edu/node/1945.

Dragons Share. Many thanks to the families who sign up!  If you would like to help deliver unopened food items, fruit, and milk from our school cafeteria to Food For Others at 2938 Prosperity Drive on Wednesdays/Fridays, please sign up! You may collect items from the refrigerator (anytime) on your assigned day. Food for Others is open from 9:30am-5pm, Monday through Friday. Winter Enrichment Classes - Registration Today!

Register TODAY for our Winter enrichment programs. Classes begin in late January/early February and will run through March. Register by next Friday, 1/17.  Class options include Coding, Robotics, Chess, Art Explorations (AM & PM) and a GROW leadership program for Girls which is run by TIC Summer Camp!!

Chuck E Cheese Restaurant Night, Wednesday January 15th. Join us for a fun night out! Chuck E Cheese Night at Pickett Center location is next Wednesday, 3-8pm. Teachers eat free! Kids each receive a sticker for 10 free tokens and will have coupons for games and food in Thursday folders, plus the option to buy an All You Can Play wristband. The more kids who attend, the better percentage Camelot will earn! Let's meet up and have fun!

Speaker Presentation and PTA Meeting-  Wednesday January 22 at 7:00pm. Special guest speaker Ann Dolin, M.Ed., will talk about Elementary Excellence: Simple Steps to Help Your Child Become an Independent Learner. Ann is the founder of Education Connections where she and her team (of 180+ tutors) have helped thousands of children and families reduce stress, improve their relationships and reach their full academic potential. 

PTA Executive Board Member Nominations. Serving on the PTA executive board is a great way to get involved with the school. This April, we will elect a new PTA executive board. Open positions include President, VP Social, VP Ways and Means and Secretary. Job descriptions are here. Volunteer Spotlight: Noriko Mitchell. A big thank you and lots of gratitude to Noriko Mitchell! Her family was new to Camelot this year and she jumped right in to help across many PTA and school programs including Fall Festival, the Book Fair, the Fun Run and many more. Thank you Noriko for your service to our community. It is so appreciated!
