As a reminder, schools and offices will be closed on Monday, January 20, for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 21. Also, schools will be closed for students January 27-28 for a teacher workday and staff development day, respectively. January 24 is the last day of the second quarter.

The National School Art Collective, in conjunction with clothing retailer "abercrombie kids," a brand of Abercrombie & Fitch Co., is pleased to announce its winners from the “Explore the Great Outdoors in the Northern Virginia” Art Contest. The artworks of Ethan Gedamu (2nd grade) and Julia Knott (6th grade) are on display in the Abercrombie Kids store in the Tysons Corner Mall. Congratulations!

Thank you again to all of you who attended our Barnes and Noble bookfair in December.
We have received the final profit numbers from the fair. We earned $1520 in Barnes and Noble credit to purchase new books for our library and book room!
Mrs. Ajello and Mrs. Cangro will be placing an order to purchase many brand new books for our library collection and book room before spring break. Thank you all for your generosity by purchasing books through our Book Fairs, it is always such a joy watching our students read books.
