Dear Stenwood Families,
We hope everyone is enjoying their snow day! We were so happy to have welcomed everyone back on Monday, I know everyone is looking forward to being back in a normal routine after hopefully a restful winter break and this quick snow storm.
We need your help, it is actually the time of year that we start planning for next year.
To ensure adequate staffing for next school year, please complete the Student Intention Form your child will be bringing home tomorrow. Please take a few minutes to complete the form for each child currently enrolled at Stenwood and have your child return the form to school on Friday. Having information about your plans for next school year helps us to solidify our numbers; our student numbers play a major role in the number of teachers assigned to our school. Your quick turn-around is appreciated. If you are uncertain of your plans, please simply write a brief note explaining your uncertain situation.
In addition, the annual Survey of Preschool Children will be sent home as well. Please encourage all of your neighbors with children of kindergarten age to contact Mrs. Sonja Hunt in the front office so that we can get all kindergarteners registered soon for the 2020-2021 school year. And of course, if you have a rising kindergartener at home, please fill out this form, too. This registration information also helps to determine the number of teachers assigned to our school.
Likewise, if you have neighbors whose children are older than kindergarten age who are talking about leaving private schools and registering at Stenwood for next year, please encourage your neighbors to contact Mrs. Sonja Hunt now.
Thank you for completing the forms tomorrow and returning them on Friday. We really appreciate it.
We are also looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night from 6:00 - 7:30 at the PTA’s Children’s Science Center night. It will be a ton of fun with lots of different stations for everyone! For more information, read PTA’s Wednesday Mail. I am a huge science nerd, so I can’t wait!
