This is from the Great Falls Citizens Association regarding CVS adding a medication drop box. This is wonderful news to help combat the opioid epidemic.  The majority of opiate addicts start with pills whether they were prescribed or left over from a family members procedure. Please do not save medications!

”Many residents have been alerted to the problem of drugs in our communities. Some get addicted to drugs due to stress, anxiety, or treatment for pain.  Some residents have unused drugs in our homes after a treatment period ends.  With this in mind and with concern for our community, the Great Falls Village CVS store has recently installed a drop box for left over medicines that might be of interest to our young people or visitors over the holidays. We understand that the Great Falls Village CVS may be the only CVS in the USA to have installed such a box. It is available during business hours at CVS.  Residents can thank Jordan, Pharmacist at CVS for arranging for this drop box.”
