Living with ADHD Support Group
Mrs. Mason and Mrs. Berry are offering support to families through on-going monthly meetings to address the challenges of life with ADHD. The next meeting for the 2019 – 2020 school year is currently scheduled for Monday, January 13th at 7:00pm. The meeting will take place in the school library from 7:00 – 8:30pm. We will focus on skills and tools to help with executive function and emotional regulation. PTA Updates
1.Thank you for another successful Winter Book Fair and Winter Festival last week. We had the help of over 75 amazing volunteers and 100 yummy cake walk treats and saw lots of smiling faces. 2. The PTA fundraiser is at 97%!! We have $350 to go! Please help us reach our $10k goal and ensure we can continue to support the school AND duct tape Mr. Fee to the wall!! http://www.huntvalleypta.org/donate/
3. The Hunt Valley PTA is excited to announce the following after school programs for the Winter 2020 session (Jan-March). We are looking for a few parent volunteers to help transition students from after school to their programs. Discounts and free classes are offered to volunteers!!

OPEN Registration for GLOBAL Plus Spanish Classes at HVES
Registration for GLOBAL Plus after school Spanish classes for grades K-6 is open. You may have seen the flyers being sent home with your child. Classes will begin Tuesday, February 4 for an 8-week session. Cost is $173. A 10% sibling discount is available upon request (Call 703-658-1201).
GLOBAL Plus classes aim to provide students with the foundation and edge in language learning in an increasingly diverse and interconnected world. Capture the optimal time in your child’s life to learn communicative skills in Spanish.

Book Bingo
The PTA is sponsoring another fun literacy event! Students will be sent home next week with a double-sided bingo sheet with various reading topics or methods. Standard bingo rules apply and students may fill out and return as many bingo sheets as they want. Each sheet equals an entry into a drawing for at least one e-reader! Book Bingo runs from December 16 - January 17.

50th Anniversary Celebration
