A reminder that MyOn books and Clermont ebooks and databases are available over winter break! In order to use MyOn students will need to know their FCPS username and password.
For the ebooks and databases please go to the link www.fcps.edu/resources/library/online-databases-and-e-books
For most databases, the username and password will both be "fairfax"
If that does not work, please try both the username and password as "fcps"
John Marshall public library is also open during the winter break! They are closed on Sundays, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day. They will be closing early on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. For more information please visit them online here:

 Clermont’s Key Club helped collect toys to support Meg’s Verry Merry Giveback. Thank you to all the families who donated toys to be given to children in the hospital over the holidays.
We would like to congratulate all the students who participated in the Clermont Run Club! They completed their 10-week season Sunday with a 5K race. Everyone showed great strength and determination! All the coaches were blown away with the effort and perseverance everyone showed! Way to go, Clermont runners!
We would also like to thank all the parents who volunteered their time to help coach and support the runners. Thank you, Estelle Maletz, Evelyn and Grant Mizell, Jim Dahl, Vivian Towe, and Kristina Robertson.

Mark your calendar for January 8, 2020, to attend Clermont Technology Night and the first PTA membership meeting of the New Year. We will meet at 6:30 PM in the Clermont caferteria. You will gain valuable information on technology available for Clermont students to use at home including websites, applications and Google suite, as well as online library services. Childcare will be provided by Edison HS leadership students and athletes. Look for more info about the meeting and tech night in the Thursday folders.

Level IV Referral Packets for FCPS students in grades 2-7 are due to the local school January 9, 2020 by 4:00 PM. The benchmark for the 2nd grade pool is 132 on the NNAT or 132 on the CogAt Composite Score or any subscore of the CogAt. The pool only applies to 2nd graders. If your child is in grades 3-6 and you are interested in having him/her screened for Level IV services, a referral must be submitted. Please visit Mrs. Acosta’s website for easy access to important information and fillable forms, or the FCPS Advanced Academics site for more information.
