Just a reminder that the school will be hosting a Principal-Parent Coffee on Tuesday, December 17th at 9:30am in the school cafeteria. The format will be an open forum with Q and A. Please stop by and introduce yourself if we haven’t met yet, even if you do not have any questions or topics that you would like to discuss. Looking forward to seeing you on December 17th.
This year’s World Language Japanese Immersion Program Information Night will be held at 6:30pm on Thursday, January 16, 2020, in the Great Falls Elementary School cafeteria. If you wish to learn about how the Japanese Immersion Program works and see if it might be a good fit for your future first grader, please come to the presentation. You will have a rare opportunity to meet the school administrators and talk to the Japanese Immersion teachers directly to ask any questions you may have about the program.
Location: Great Falls Elementary
Time: 6:30 PM, Thursday, January 16 (or January 23 for the snow day)
Who: Parents of students with rising 1st graders OR students who are fluent Japanese speakers
Flu season is upon us, which typically means there will be an increased number of students absent or being sent home from the clinic with flu-like symptoms, fever, cough, or headache. Please encourage frequent hand washing, covering your cough, drinking plenty of water, ensuring adequate rest and remaining home from school until symptoms subside for 24 hours without medication.
