As we have previously shared, Mrs. Watlington, school counselor for last names Orf-Rodd will be retiring this month. Her last day is next Friday, December 20. We thank her for her service to West Potomac over the last 12 years and FCPS over the last 25 years and wish her the best in retirement!
I'd like to formally introduce Ms. Debora Yoon, who will be taking over for Mrs. Watlington. Ms. Yoon recently finished her Master in School Counseling at Johns Hopkins University. Ms. Yoon earned her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Seoul National University in Seoul, South Korea. Ms. Yoon loves watching baseball, going on road trips, and swimming. She has a wealth of knowledge regarding our school as she served as our full-time school counseling intern this Fall.
